Business Name:

Fit For Life

Business Owner:

Vic Currie

What does your business offer?

Fit for Life have been helping people with all abilities for over 12 years with Physical Therapy, Clinical Pilates and Outdoor Group activities. As an NDIS registered provider, we are required by the government to remain open during lockdowns.

Why did you choose Sandy Village to run your business?

After extensive experience in the AFL/VFL I then worked in many gyms around Melbourne, before experiencing a taste of Sandringham lifestyle.

Why did you start your business?

I fell in love with the people, beach and village atmosphere, so I decided to give up my job, move to Sandy and start my own health clinic.

What’s your proudest moment in business?

I feel beyond blessed to be able to help people everyday! We have a great Fit for Life team with 7 wonderful employees.

What’s something your business offers that people may not know about?

Our latest venture is group activities twice a week. We have a large bus that’s wheelchair accessible, and we go out to experience fun and sometimes challenging activities such as horse riding, hiking, waterskiing, bowling, go karts, skydiving and so much more.

A lot of our members are musically inclined, so our future endeavours are to start our own band and collaborate with Chris and the guys next door at Guitars Plus!

What’s your favourite hangout in Sandy Village?

We love having group lunches and dinners at The Hobson Stores and Aroma Tea House.

Best thing about Sandy Village aside from your business?

Being located across the road from one of Melbourne’s best beach, is an incredible place to be apart of!
