Australia Day in Sandy Village

Reflect, Respect, Celebrate - Australia Day in Sandy Village with Music, Live Bands, Cultural Performances, Kids Entertainment & More.

This is the Story of Australia - the story of an extraordinary nation. The Story begins 60,000 years ago. New chapters are written every day.

On Australia Day, we reflect on our history, its highs and its lows. We respect the stories of others. And we celebrate our nation, its achievements and most of all, its people. We're all part of the story.

This Australia Day, Wednesday 26 January - Sandringham Village (Sandy Village) traders will open their doors to celebrate their individual and collective stories, by hosting a range of fun activities and entertainment, including live bands, cultural performances, kids’ entertainment, AFLW and AFW player appearances and more.

Sandy Village is home to a great selection of cafes, restaurants and retailers offering delicious cuisines and quality products from around the world including Japan, Greece, Thailand, China, Turkey, Italy, Vietnam, Greece, Nepal, Sweden, India, New Zealand and many others.

Supported by the National Australia Day Council, Bayside City Council and the Sandringham Traders Association, this Australia Day event aims to showcase and recognise all the hospitality and retail options available in the Village and bring the local community together to reflect, respect and celebrate.
