Knowledge is power - the first step to making a change is understanding and measuring where you are at!

What is the PERMAH Survey:

Created by Dr. Peggy Kern from the University of Melbourne’s Centre for Positive Psychology and Dr Michelle McQuaid a leading Wellbeing researcher, the PERMAH Survey is a simple and powerful tool that helps you quickly and easily to measure your Wellbeing.

One of the first things you’ll discover is that Wellbeing is a lot more than just exercising, meditating, or eating well. There are six key factors that contribute to our overall Wellbeing, which is what the acronym PERMAH stands for. These six factors are:

  • Positive Emotions
  • Engagement
  • Relationships
  • Meaning
  • Accomplishment
  • Health

You can explore these six areas in more detail by clicking back to the main page.

Why take the survey?

By taking the survey you will receive a confidential report about your individual Wellbeing and be provide with the opportunity to design a personal plan based on your results. You will also be contributing towards our Community Wellbeing Report which we’ll use as a guide to help plan more activities in the future.

The survey only takes five minutes and has already been used all over the world by big brands like Xero, BHP, NAB, Care Super and even Essendon FC. Now it’s our turn!
